Your satisfaction is paramount to us. We want using our site to be an easy and stress free experience.
Having said that, nobody’s perfect and things don’t always go smoothly but we will do our best to rectify any problems with the minimal of disruption to you.
Here’s how it works;
Our suppliers and manufacturers have a differing delivery and returns policies and costs but as a generalisation read on.
If an item has been delivered damaged;
If an item has been delivered with a damaged replaceable part we will send a replacement part to you. We don’t replace items that have replaceable damaged parts, items are only replaced if the parts are not replaceable or at our discretion. In order to establish the nature of the damage we ask for evidence in the form of pictures/images. When we receive these we will make a judgement on how to proceed. (Please see important information if you are returning goods below)
If you decide to return the item when the goods are not defective in any way;
Where a consumer cancels an order they have a duty to return the goods or make them available for collection. We do not require the consumer to return the goods but if you do not arrange the return of the goods and require us to collect them, we will charge for the direct cost of recovery. Our direct cost for a collection is generally £25 unless otherwise stated. (Please see important information if you are returning goods below)
Important information if you are returning goods;
All we ask is that you ensure the item is in the same condition as when you received it. By this we mean unused and in a re-saleable condition and in original or suitable packaging. It must be boxed or the couriers won’t collect it. If we arrange a collection on your behalf and when our collection agent arrives there is no one there, we will have to issue a failed collection charge. Again, these vary from our suppliers but are generally £15 unless otherwise stated.
Consumers have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods while in their possession. The consumer must take reasonable care to ensure that we receive the goods and that the goods are not damaged in transit. If the consumer does not exercise reasonable care and the goods are damaged, we may have a claim against the consumer for breach of this statutory duty.
A customer has the right to cancel an order up to 7 days after receiving the item. If you want to cancel within the 7 day period you must inform us in writing, or in another durable medium. This includes letter or email. A phone call is not sufficient.
If an order is cancelled after the goods have been despatched you will be charged to cover our transport costs (known as our direct costs). These charges will vary depending on the size of the item and the supplier. Generally it costs us £15 unless otherwise stated.
If you decide to return a damaged item you will receive a full refund when we receive the goods and not be charged for collection.
If an item is out of stock or unavailable we may offer an alternative product
The main point is simply that if there is a problem tell us as soon as possible so we can react quickly to resolve it.
We will work with our manufacturers and suppliers to rectify any issues as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Like we said, everyone makes mistakes but it’s how they are rectified that sets companies apart.
Your satisfaction is paramount to us.
We want using our site to be an easy and stress free experience.
Having said that, nobody’s perfect and things don’t always go smoothly. We rely on suppliers and manufacturers who do their best to keep us updated and informed but with the volume of products on our site, mistakes sometimes happen.
The warranty period will vary from supplier to supplier.
The warranty period should be stated on the item listing. If it isn’t visible or if it isn’t clear in any way, please contact us and one of our team will talk you through it.
As a rule of thumb warranties cover parts and components. However, we take into account reasonable wear and tear.
“We warrant that the Goods will at the time of dispatch correspond to the description given to us by the manufacturer/supplier”. This means, we tell you what we are told by the manufacturer about the item. If you are unsure about a description or would like some more information, please call us and one of our team will talk you through it.
